It is very difficult for families to deal with these issues, we had to deal with this when my Dad had several falls and my Mum just couldn't do the physical stuff for him anymore, so he was placed in a private nursing home where he was cared for very well and his last two years were lived in safety and comfort. I hope things go well for the future care of your Mum, it is a challenging transition, and one we as their children don't necessarily want to have to make, but eventually it is unavoidable!
I wish your family well.
Indeed it is a joy to visit with your furry friends, they are a blessing and a great distraction when life gets tough....Merilynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07017362688960778176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7978266441948634046.post-24978228475477143062012-02-16T21:55:42.520-06:002012-02-16T21:55:42.520-06:00God bless you and your family...enduring sometime&...God bless you and your family...enduring sometime's is the hard part of this life I think.
I love your cat's...my dad has alot of cat's and love's each one of them dearly. I couldn't help but tear-up when reading your post. Hubster and I faced this very situation this past summer with his mother. We had her here in our home, but as she became harder to care for because of her dementia, we made the hard decision of putting her in a nursing care facility. It was the best decision we'd made concerning her care! She is very well cared for here, and loved by everyone there. We are Blessed to have her here and she loves it! Many activities, outings, etc. keeps her busy and doing better. Just a suggestion! Hope thing go well for you! You are in our thoughts! Sorry about that.

I love your kitties. We have had them in the past and they are so fun. We have a little dog, a Maltese. She is hilarious. :)

It looks like we have the same situation in common. My mom, who is only going to be 79 this April has had some troubles.

She has fallen a couple of times. And was been in the hospital and a nursing home for a month. I am far from her too. 1,000 miles. :( And I couldn't get up there. She is alone too. :( I wish I can figure out what to do.

If you'd like to email me, I have a email me thing on my blog at ...
http://throughthewoods2.blogspot.com

Will be praying that things work out for you all.
