WE ARE OUR BROTHERS' & SISTERS' KEEPERS

RESCUED BABY AND GRATEFUL MOTHER
Many of us remain shocked and saddened by the devastating earthquake in Haiti. I've been watching more news than is probably healthy. We've been praying as many of you have and will continue to offer prayers. Those of us facing financial cutbacks can still do SOMEthing. Donating even a small amount will add to the relief efforts. I went to the American Red Cross site to make a donation a few days ago and would like to ask each of you to give to an aid society of your choice. There are already some cruel people trying to take advantage of the devastation and deceive those who would offer help to the earthquake victims. That's why I went directly to the Am. Red Cross. That site is secure and the donations remain private.
Here's the link for donations to the Am. Red Cross - click on Haiti Relief and Development:

Many other sites have now been designated as donation centers. There are too many to list, but here's one recently set up at the specific request of President Obama:
Please check within your communities for other ways to offer help. Thank you for anything you can do. Keep the prayers going. We Americans have been blessed with much. The Haitian people have lost everything. I vow to be more aware of others' needs and continue to be thankful for my life, my family, and all things with which I've been blessed.
