FRESH STRAWBERRY PIE
1 baked 9-inch pie shell
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
pinch of salt
1 and 3/4 cup cold water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box strawberry Jello
2 quarts fresh strawberries
Mix together sugar, cornstarch, water and salt. Cook until clear, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and strawberry Jello. Cool until it begins to thicken. Fill baked pie shell with berries. Pour gelatin glaze over berries and place pie in refrigerator. Top each serving with whipped topping and enjoy.
