ENDLESS SUMMER DAYS

MY FRIEND CHRIS HAS BEAUTIFUL GARDENS AND WAS RECENTLY PRESENTED WITH THE CITY BEAUTIFICATION AWARD! THE FRONT YARD OF HER HOME IS SO COLORFUL AND INVITING
HERE'S THE AWARD PRESENTED BY THE CITY
WHEN GRANDDAUGHTER WAS HERE, SHE HELPED WITH THE CATS. SHE LOVES GROOMING THEM. PUTTY IS WHITE , TAYLOR IS YELLOW.
TAYLOR IS A GARFIELD LOOK-ALIKE AND LOVES ATTENTION. SOME MIGHT CALL HIM NEEDY, BUT HE'S SO CUDDLY AND LOVEABLE.
PUDDY SEEMS TO BE ENJOYING HER GROOMING SESSION.
I've been cat sitting for a good friend and former neighbor, Chris, this week and I think I love her cats as much as I love my own. Actually, a few of hers use to be "my own". She adopted them from me and provided loving forever homes. I've been going to her home twice a day to feed the furry ones some canned food as morning and evening treats. I make sure their litter boxes are cleaned twice a day and they have dry food and clean water at all times.
The cats are allowed to be in the backyard during the day since Chris has a six-foot fence with protective netting along the top. The cats can't get out and other critters can't get inside the fence. Coco, Puddy, Casey, Nubs, Carly, and Taylor have a wonderful yard in which to play and nap. There are two little cat doors by which the kitties' can come and go, but I haven't told my crew about that. They'd be green with envy and begin demanding one for themselves. At night, I make sure all furry tails are counted and tucked inside the house with cat doors locked until morning.
I'm so proud of Chris and all she's done to make and keep her lawn and gardens so beautiful. I know it's a lot of work and something not everybody can do. Our city recently presented her with a beautification award and she certainly deserved it. Way to go Chris, and welcome home!

Yes her lawn is pretty and she sounds like a pretty "cool" cat lady!!! I want a back yard like her's for a bunch of kittens too!!!
You have so much love to take care of your "babies" and then to go to someone else's place and take good care of her's!!! Bless you!
In only one weeks time of having a cat I discovered it is alot of added work and that was with only ONE cat---Hugs, Di
