BATH TIME FOR TUCKER

AW MOM, I DON'T NEED A BATH - I'M CLEAN ENOUGH ALREADY
MAYBE IF I SCRUNCH WAY DOWN IN HERE . . .

Tucker had a bath tonight. I was hesitant to bathe him sooner because he was so tiny. I'm thankful he's growing and thriving, but unfortunately he was also hosting a couple of fleas. I'd been using a flea comb on him and hadn't seen any live flea activity until this evening when I was holding him. I took him straight to the bathroom and prepared a basin full of warm water and found the baby shampoo to use on him. He tolerated his bath well and didn't seem to mind the scrubbing I gave him, but I think he was happy when he was out of the water and wrapped in a soft dry towel. I used the flea comb on him after he was dry and think I've seen the last of the fleas. Tucker was playing and eating after his bath so I don't think I frightened him too much by bathing him. When I held him again he smelled good and felt so soft.
Look at those big kitten paws. It seems like all of a sudden Tucker has had a growth spurt. I think he's going to eventually be a big boy. His back feet have really grown too. He looks like a different kitten from the one I found about three weeks ago.

We think Tucker is a very lucky kitty. Now that he's had his first bath he won't be afraid of it in the future. He is growing fast...that's for sure. Sometimes I wish they could stay small forever!

He is precious! All sweet and clean.... Where does Tucker sleep? Just wondering.... Since he doesn't have a biological family to sleep with.
