GIVE THANKS WITH A GRATEFUL HEART

If Tucker could talk, I wonder if he would say he was thankful to have a warm bed, a clean cozy room, lots of toys, all the food he can eat, and people who love him. Some might think I'm just a crazy cat lady, but I'm thankful for Tucker. I've rescued many cats over the years and though each one has a place in my heart, Tucker is very special. He was so tiny when I found him and I wasn't sure he would survive. He came along at a time I was feeling very stressful after all the delays and obstacles we were experiencing while trying to purchase a house. He diverted my attention from many of the things about which I was fretting. The bottom line - he needed me and I was happy to be needed. Thank you Tucker.
As I think of all the things for which I'm grateful this Thanksgiving, I could probably make a very long list and not cover everything. Maybe it's enough to say I'm thankful for life, with all it's ups and downs, joys and sorrows, and all the everyday things in between. A list of life's highlights would include family members, friends, dedicated people who help keep this country safe, and the freedom to live where we want and worship as we choose. It's good to have a day set aside to gather with loved ones and reflect on our blessings. It would be even better if we all remembered to give thanks every single day.
Have a very Blessed Thanksgiving.

Kady, I think Tucker would say he was very thankful to be with you.
These pictures of him are darling. His face is changing...he's looking more grown up now.
Take care and have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family.
