THE QUEEN OF CUPCAKES

When Granddaughter was here last week, she and I did a little bit of shopping. As we browsed the half-price holiday items, a huge cupcake mold caught our eyes. It was much larger than even the biggest muffin tins I had in my baking stash. I asked if she would like to make a giant cupcake and she immediately answered, "Yes!". We bought the cupcake mold and decided to use it the next day.
The cupcake pan is not the largest I've ever seen, but takes a whole box of cake mix to fill. Granddaughter had fun choosing which colors to use for decoration after the giant cupcake had baked and cooled. I prepared the frosting but left all the coloring and decorating up to her. She says she's now the cupcake queen.
