Yesterday my daughter invited us to view an art show at Granddaughter's school and asked us to join her family for dinner afterward. I volunteered to make some dessert and decided on two old favorites - Lemon Bars and Raspberry Bars. I've made both "by scratch" in the past but I had two mixes on hand and fixed those. I think they were well-received. I've read some varied reviews about the mixes I used, but I've always had good luck with them. They make baking quicker, but not less messy. I'm the messiest baker I know.
