ONE DAY AT A TIME

PINK AND BLACK SHOWER CURTAIN

THIS IS SARA

Progress is a little slow on the house this week. We need to finish painting before we can install the flooring, but Glenn has had little time to paint and I learned I am definitely not very good at it. I'll continue to help if it's absolutely necessary, but I don't think I made a proper job of it on my first attempt. I did, however, order a pink and black retro-looking shower curtain for the pink bathroom today. That's progress, right? Glenn says I'm impatient and too anxious to get everything accomplished. He says I need to take one day at a time - as if I have a choice. As I see it, I've been patient a very long time, so yes, I definitely want things to speed up a bit.

Today I took a photo of one furry little charge for whom I'm cat-sitting this week. Sara, the pretty gray kitty, was playing with me and chasing her bouncing snowman-on-a-string and trying to catch a fuzzy looking black tail attached to a small pillow. I took a photo of her playing and she became indignant and promptly turned her back to me, began to twitch her tail back and forth, and then left the room. I must have insulted her by snapping the picture. I was eventually forgiven, but Sara definitely didn't like having her picture taken, but she's a beautiful kitty.
