WHISTLE WHILE YOU WORK

I'M TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE

Maybe it's the heat or maybe it's the fact I'm 30 years older than when I last moved, but right now I'm in a perpetual state of tiredness. I still have a few cupboards to clean but they're almost done. Glenn wants us to "camp out" at the house this weekend so we can paint some rooms. Hmm, I think maybe HE can camp out there and I'll stay here and continue to pack boxes. I'm still very much in love with the house and the location. I just wish there wasn't so much work to do before we could complete the move. It's not as if we didn't know work would be involved, but I thought it would go a little faster. On Monday I met a farm neighbor and her sweet little dog, Boo Boo. Yes, that's really his name. She told me who lived where and who had cats. She rescues felines, can you believe it? My cat radar must have been on high alert when I told Glenn I really wanted to live in that area. Yesterday I stopped by a farm market and bought the best white sweet corn. I just stood there on the side of the road and looked all around me. What a beautiful place to be. I absolutely love it out there. Once this move is completed, I'll catch up on rest and all this work will be in the past. The bottom line is, I'm very grateful for all the cupboards and storage space in this house. I now have room for things I was sure I'd have to give away and I'm planning to store my blender, toaster and big red KitchenAid mixer where I'll finally have easy access to all of them. It's all good - just a bit more work than I had expected.

That's my girl! I knew you would have to work harder than you wanted, but I also knew you would love it more as you discovered all the possibilities. I am so happy for you---and your kitties!
How is the cat barn coming?
Yeah, let hubby camp out! Maybe he will really get some painting done before you get there.....

Glad you have made a connection with a neighbour with the same kitty passion as you, that's a good start!!! Each day gets closer to having things where and how you like! It is a lot of work moving, just take things easy if you can! Good to hear you are loving it though, that you made the right decision!!!!
