STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS

I'M LOVING THIS FLOOR
COOK ONCE, EAT FOUR TIMES - CHILI AND TWICE-BAKED ZITI

I ADDED A LITTLE VALANCE TO MY KITCHEN SINK AREA - NOTHING FANCY, JUST SOMETHING I'VE HAD FOR A LONG TIME AND WANTED TO USE - IT'S A CANNING JAR PRINT

BUILT-IN SHELF IN MY SEWING ROOM

I ADDED BRAIDED RUGS TO THE SEWING ROOM FLOOR

We're making more progress at the new old house. Glenn has just about finished installing the kitchen flooring and our son-in-law, Doug, has helped us so much with plumbing and re-routing the dryer vent. Previously the vent was in the hallway floor, but I have no idea why. Now the dryer is vented to the outside as the inspector said it should be. I've been working on my sewing room and it's coming along nicely. Today I unpacked more boxes of fabric and found homes for my stashes. Once the major work of moving is done, I'll finally be able to work on a few projects. I cook at the farm nearly every day and it's a challenge to remember what ingredients to take, what I have on-hand already, and what to cook once I arrive. I spent a couple hours cooking this week and now have chili and baked ziti for meals. I also baked some brownies for a bit of dessert. It will be good to not have to step around the areas on which Glenn is working. I'm sure he'll appreciate that too.

I love the hardwoods--just beautiful!
I also love your use of jars for storage. I love jars and have been collecting them for years. They look fantastic!
