LAZY DAYS OF SUMMER

ELLIOT LOUNGING ATOP ONE OF THE CAT CONDOS
BAILEY ROLLING OVER FOR A TUMMY RUB
TIMMY LOOKING A LITTLE ASKEW ON THE CAT CONDO
BAXTER DOING WHAT HE LOVES BEST
DESTROYING A ROLL OF PAPER TOWELS
The days of summer may be lazy for the cats, but not for me. I have so much to do that I can't think straight....so instead of getting busy, I procrastinate. How's that for getting things accomplished? I need to go to our former residence and take out the last few items remaining there. It wouldn't be a huge chore if I'd just get to it, but I keep putting it off thinking I'll do it another day. If we're to put the house on the market any time soon, I need to just DO it, but there are totes and boxes here to look through and purge. What should I work on first? It's hot now and there are no fans in the barn to move around the air if I look through boxes.  That seems reason enough to let it go for now. It's not as if I'm doing nothing at all. For the most part, I'm keeping up with laundry and other housework. I tell myself I've earned some down time after so much recent activity around here, but the truth is, the work will not get done by itself. It's calling my name so I best get to it. On days like this I envy the cats. They eat, sleep, play, and have their own personal maid. I make sure their water and food bowls are always filled and I clean their bathrooms every single day. Around here it's a cats' life.

oh I am on your bandwagon too..I have to go through crates of holiday decor and other stuff to purge and get rid of..I have too much stuff and it needs to go..but just going out and doing it does not thrill me in the slightest..but it won't get done unless I get out there..so maybe I need to do a bin or two a day and do it everyday or just pound it out..pricing it is the hardest thing..I am making three bins, garage sale, thrift store, and a dumps pile..just hoping I can keep them all separated..have a great week and give those kittehs a love.:)

Indeed it is a cat's life LOL!!!! I have more than enough to do around here too, but yesterday I just sat on the front porch for a spell mid morning in the beautiful winter sun with Miss Mini and a cup of tea and enjoyed the moment! Does the soul good, 'stuff' will still be there tomorrow.....don't stress!
