Caramel Squares
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 egg
pinch of salt
1 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
Melt sugar and butter together and let cool; add the egg and beat. Mix in the remaining ingredients and pour into a 9" x 13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
