THE WALL COLOR IS A MEDIUM BLUE BUT SHOWS A LITTLE DARKER NEWLY PAINTED BEDROOM - WE'RE KEEPING THE WALLPAPER FOR NOW WAITING FOR ME TO TURN HIS SCRATCHING TOY UPRIGHT
NUBS IS SUCH A PRETTY LITTLE GIRL
Yesterday Glenn and I painted the master bedroom in the new old house and I felt as if I had more blue paint on me than I'd put on the walls. I can do some things well, but obviously, painting is not one of them. It's looks much easier than it is - at least for me. I was so concerned about dripping on the hardwood floor that I didn't load the roller with enough paint, even though I knew we were using drop cloths. Today I noticed some spots which will need to be re-touched. I guess that'll teach Glenn to ask me to help him paint. Actually, I did try to do my best. My best just wasn't good enough. Maybe I'll go back to cleaning cupboards. That, I can do well.
This week I'm cat sitting and that's such a welcome relief from painting and cleaning in the house. Some of the furry ones meet me at the door when I arrive, and as much as I'd like to believe it's because they like me, I know they greet me with happily twitching tails because I'm the food giver while their mama is gone. Today I sat with them for quite awhile and enjoyed the calming feeling of having cats in my lap. I can honestly say I've never met a cat I didn't like.

Hi Kady,
Looks like everything is coming along great. I'm not a good painter either ~ I seem to get more on me than the walls!
I lost count ~ How many kitties do you have? They are all adorable!
Have a great week!
