RUSTY - TRYING TO CATCH A CATNAP
Our move to the country is ongoing and at times frustrating. We're living in our new old house on the farm but have left some small items here at the former residence - things under the bathroom and kitchen sinks, pictures, and cleaning supplies, to name a few. I come here to feed and care for the cats twice a day and check email but I can't bring myself to box up all those things just yet. I'm not really sure why. Maybe it seems like too much trouble....or is it that the act of packing the last of our belongings will be so final?
We've been told we'll have internet service on Monday, but that's what we were told last Monday. One of the frustrations of moving to the country has been securing phone, cable, and internet connections. The well known companies do not service our area, but how were we supposed to know that? I guess it's another case of live and learn. We seem to be doing a lot of learning these days.
When I come here the cats love to play and run through the nearly-empty house. They sit here and help me type and lie on the floor directly in the paths I need to walk. Such helpers they are. I do love them though and their antics make me smile when sometimes I feel like crying. We're into the third month of this move and I'm not yet seeing the light at the end of the tunnel but maybe the furry tailed ones will help me through it.

Your fur babys are just gorgeous, they look to be very healthy and in great condition, especially the longhaired ones!!! That final load in a move can be the hardest, it is about closing the door for the last time, which can be hard to do if you have spent so much of your life in that place, so many memories.......
oh your little furries are missing their mama and daddy..I hope this move "packs" up soon so you can all be under one roof.;) have a wonderful weekend and give those babies a great big love for me and one for you too;)
Moving is so taxing physically and emotionally on humans and the furbabies ! I am moving tomorrow , but I too am having trouble with those last lil out of sight packing spots , just dont wanna finalize i guess! Wish you and yours the most of happiness in your new home! hugs lilraggedyangie
there for the grace of God go I.....
you will find the way.
you will leave the shell behind and take the heart with you.
fear not the loss of such sweet memories for they will live on in your heart and mind and in the hearts of these precious companions.
they need their people and work hard at letting you know that. bless their little hearts for providing you with good reason to smile......
