SNAP, CRACKLE, and POP ONE IN YOUR MOUTH

Granddaughter is here for the day and we're having a great time. She and Granddad took a bike ride a little while ago and when they returned home, we made Rice Krispies Treats. It was a very sticky job but somebody had to do it. We followed the basic recipe found on the box, then melted and added few more marshmallows and about 1/4 cup of chunky peanut butter to ours. Yum!
RICE KRISPIES TREATS
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 package (10.5 oz.) miniature marshmallows
6 cups crispy rice cereal
Melt butter and marshmallows in pan over low heat - stirring constantly. Pour over crispy rice cereal and stir until well mixed. Press into well buttered 13"x9" pan. Cool and enjoy.
