HAVE A BLESSED THANKSGIVING DAY

Thanksgiving is here and I'm still wondering what happened to October! When I was a child, I often became bored and wished the days would pass quickly. Adults in my family often said thing such as, "We'd best not wish our days away. As we grow older, the days seem to go by too quickly". I remember thinking that was silly talk. What did they know? I'm finding out exactly what they knew and they were right. The seasons seem to be flying by, and I want to savor every day I've been given.
Today we give thanks for the family, freedom, and possessions with which we have been blessed. Do something to help others, be kind and truthful in thought, word, and deed, help animals in need, and remember to pray for our service men and women and their families, wherever they may be.
This is a very special time of the year. We celebrate on this day and formally express how grateful we are for life's blessings, though we should (and many of us do) offer thanks every day. Have a very blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends and be grateful in all things.
