Spouse and I were getting ready for church Sunday morning and he asked if I'd like to go to Waynesville for the afternoon. He was already planning to take me out for breakfast and I thought that was a nice Mother's Day gift. I said I'd love to go but that I knew it wasn't his cup of tea. He admitted it wasn't, but said he'd take a book along to read while I shopped. So after church we drove to Waynesville and enjoyed the scenery - blue sky, white clouds, farmland, horses, and nature in bloom. Most of the shops were open and though I bought very little. it was a wonderful day trip. We stopped at a quaint restaurant in town and had supper before driving back home. It couldn't have been a nicer day.
Here's a website for Waynesville, Ohio. If you're ever in southwest Ohio, this town is a must-see.
