LIKE A KID IN A CANDY STORE

I recently visited a JoAnn Fabrics store, but not because I needed anything. I just love looking at all the fabrics, threads, notions, and books. Actually, I did need some inspiration, and all I had to do was browse and soak it all in. It was like a library for crafters. What I'd really wish for is a general store-type shop to visit - an emporium with wood plank floors, long rustic counters, and shelves full of fabric bolts, old lace, and jars of notions. Now that would be crafter heaven.
HOMESPUN FABRICS REMIND ME OF DAYS GONE BY AND SIMPLER TIMES
I HAVE A NOTION I COULD USE SOMETHING FROM THIS WALL
SO MANY BOOKS - SO LITTLE TIME
PURE EYE CANDY BUTTONS, BUTTONS - WHO HAS THE BUTTONS?
THESE REMIND ME OF "CHARMS" CANDY
While I was browsing, I took these photos. For once, I didn't buy a thing, but I did get my "fix" for the day. I stopped at a thrift store on the way home and found a huge jar that will be perfect for displaying old wooden spools and notions. Inspiration!
