CHRISTMAS PLANNING IN JULY?

THERE ARE 167 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?

It might be rushing the season a bit, but my friend, Deanna, and I were talking about Christmas today and planning for a home craft show. We love talking and planning - it's the follow-through with which we have a bit of a problem. We sure love making lists and sharing ideas though.
We become very enthused and inspired when we have a plan and destination for our crafting journey. For a few years, we've each kept a Christmas notebook in which we recorded our thoughts and craft ideas we might want to use for the holidays. We dug out our notebooks today and began to refresh our memories about the things we hope to do this year.
Whether we actually follow through and host a show this year is not as important as the fun we're having planning for one. It's good to have something to think about besides the hot weather. We intend to finish some projects we tucked away and didn't complete last year and we're choosing a few new things to make so our presentation will look fresh.
Someone once said the joy is not so much in the destination as in the journey - and we agree.

Hi---I forgot to leave a comment about the kiddie "rides"--I love it---you never know what will entertain a cat!!!!
Christmas is coming fast again this year and that is why I joined the Early Christmas club and it is a good feeling to have some gifts already done!!!! Now to keep on making things with all the other projects I have to do!!! Let me know if you pick a date for the "open house" I may have to "fly" out and do some shopping!!! and pet those kitties!!! oh and give you a hug or two too!!!
Hugs, Di
