I took this photo of Elliot yesterday while he was waiting for me to "twirl" him in the swivel chair I use at the computer. Three of my four-legged furry boys now love to twirl. It might not be good for the chair but it's wonderful entertainment for the cats and me. Cody was the first to try it, then Blooper decided he might give twirling a whirl. Not to be outdone, Elliot jumped into the chair after Blooper was finished with his ride. He seemed to like it too. Spouse asked how I knew he liked it. If he hadn't, he would have jumped down from the chair. Duh.
I don't twirl the cats very quickly. I don't want them to become dizzy or fall. It's odd though, how they'll jump up into the chair, lie down, and brace themselves, to let me know they're ready for a ride. Elliot looked up at me and mewed when he was ready, but he's my most vocal cat. After he twirled yesterday then vacated the chair, I sat down here to check email. He promptly jumped onto my shoulder and sat there as I read and typed. He's supposed to be up for adoption, but he and I know he needs to stay here. We just have to convince Spouse.
