JULY ORNAMENTS

YOU CAN CLICK ON THE PHOTO FOR A CLOSER LOOK
Ta-da! They're finished. My July ornaments are patchwork cats. I like how they turned out but I'll try to find some rusty bells to tie on them. Those red ones seem a bit intense. I didn't notice that so much until I looked at the photo I'd taken.
For any of you who aren't familiar with my monthly ornaments - in January I vowed to make at least 12 ornaments each month this year. Through all my years of crafting, I often left smaller things until last because I was busy making larger things to sell. I always ran out of time before I got around to making ornaments, but I always wanted to display baskets or bowls filled with small things that could be sold for $5 or under and now I have some.
Producing one dozen ornaments each month should be a simple task, but I'm easily sidetracked and don't have a good work ethic. I admit it. I guess that's why I'm happy to be on-task and accomplishing something I set out to do - for a change.

I like your kittens. I'm on the same boat as you are right now. I've vowed to make 1 dozen ornaments or bowl fillers a week for the month of Aug. This is for my late Nov craft show. Folks love buying small things too and they can go fast! Keep up the good work.
By the way, I'm offering a free ornament on my block - check it out! You can make some quick ones for your show.

Blessings,
