SUNFLOWER SUNDAY
A couple weeks ago I posted a photo of my one lonely sunflower and her only bloom. She has surprised me with eight more blooms - all on one stalk.
My little pumpkin is growing by leaps and bounds. This is the only one on the vine. The small one disappeared. Raccoons roam at night and take whatever they can manage to carry.
Spouse set his cell phone on the pumpkin so you could gauge the size.
uummmm loving that sunflower!! love the colors of it...still no blooms or buds on mine..and I have a pumpkin the size of a quarter...if I put my cell phone on it..it would hide it..;) have a great day and thanks for sharing.:)
I posted sunflowers, too, on my desert garden blog! These were wild ones growing by the side of the road...here's the link: http://desertgardenpd.blogspot.com/2010/08/wild-sunflowerstodays-flowers-080810.html
Your sunflower is really looking great. Mine are all finally blooming too although something is eating the petals as fast as they bloom. Oh well, hope they enjoyed them! LOL
