GRANNY'S ATTIC TREASURES

Two weekends ago, I attended a family wedding out of town and was able to visit my good friend, Deanna, while there. Deanna and I don't often have much time to visit, but we do our best to pack a lot into the time we do have. We love to go thrift store shopping and try to work that into our short visits. We always seem to find a few treasures.
Last Saturday I visited Waynesville, a quaint Ohio village full of antique and specialty shops, and this past weekend I attended a church bazaar that had two Granny's Attic rooms full of gently used items from which to shop. These days I'm choosing only those things I know I will use. I've let go of many things I no longer need, so I don't feel guilty about bringing in a few "new" things now and then. Among all those thrift shopping opportunities, I found some very nice treasures - total cost was just a tad over $10.00.
