This is the view I woke to find this morning. It just looked so serene and I thought it was very unusual for the moon to still be in view at 7am. Yes, those are Christmas lights still on the deck. I love seeing them so we left them even after all the other Christmas decorations were stored. Besides that, it's way too cold to get out there and take them down right now. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I know one morning I still saw the moon and was surprised!!

Oh, my....It is beautiful. So serene and peaceful looking.
My Mom said she got up about 4 AM to go to the bathroom. The moon was so pretty she looked out the window and there was a big deer, licking the salt off their sidewalk. They see them often in their backyard but not so close to the house. Seems like beautiful views are out there for those who get up to find them.....
