TO MY DAUGHTER ON MOTHER'S DAY

BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS FROM DAUGHTER AND HER HUBBY

It seems like only yesterday you were a little girl watching "Cap'n Roo", playing with Barbie dolls and giggling with your girlfriends at slumber parties. Where did the years go? In spite of all my faults and mistakes along the way, you grew into the loving, empathetic, generous woman you are today. I hope I've expressed how proud I am of you. If I haven't said it in awhile, I'm telling you again now. I've very proud of you. Life has not always been easy and the roads have rarely been smooth. Our family has certainly had its share of ups and downs, but through everything, you've persevered and continued learning, loving, and trusting that better days are always ahead. You met and married a wonderful man who would become the father of your children, my grandchildren. I can honestly say he's a son to your dad and me. I may not know very much in this universe, but I do know that man loves you more than life itself and I believe with my whole heart he would do anything he could to make you happy. One of the things I love about your relationship with him is that after 16 years of marriage, he still calls you his queen. Every day he shows you how much he cares about you. I realize Mother's Day is traditionally a special time set aside to honor mothers, but today I honor you, dear daughter of mine. I've watched in awe as you've learned to be the great mom you are to your children. My heart bursts with pride when I observe how lovingly you are guiding them into becoming caring and responsible adults. I wish you a very Happy Mother's Day and only good things in the years to come.

Love, Mom
