HERE COMES FALL

ONE OF THE FEW AREAS WHERE I CAN PLACE SEASONAL DECORATIONS
IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LITTLE LIKE FALL
(You can always click on the photos to enlarge them)

Even though we've not completely moved into the new old house, I have an overwhelming urge to decorate the few spaces I can. None of the rooms is entirely move-in ready yet but the closest thing I have to a family room right now is the fireplace area so that's where I started decorating for Fall. I haven't located the boxes in which I store seasonal decorations so I pulled out fabric pumpkins I'd made and stored in the cabin loft. Glenn took them down for me over the weekend and I transported them to the farm yesterday. I put a few things on the Hoosier and the rest on the hearth and mantle. It's not much, but it's a start.

At least you've made a start, it will encourage you as you go along! I like your new old house!

I am seriously loving your fireplace hearth and mantle. You are so darned lucky!
Your Hoosier is similar to mine. My roll down is missing but I still love it and I am loving that punkin on top of yours!
I do less decorating now, tend to go more for fall and not any specific holiday. Same as the other seasons, not so much holidays. Paring down and trying to lighten the unpacking and packing and storing.....
Looking forward to the next update!
Warmest blessings, my friend,
