HAVE I MENTIONED I LOVE CATS?

AMY AND ABIGAIL'S HOME
AMY WASN'T TOO HAPPY ABOUT HAVING HER PICTURE TAKEN

...BUT ABIGAIL SEEMED TO BE POSING FOR HER CLOSEUP

I've been cat-sitting this week for neighbors who were celebrating their birthdays and anniversary. They live in a beautiful log home the next street over from mine. For all the years I'd lived here on top of Stoney Hill, I'd wished I could take a peek inside their home but I would never have asked to do so. One day a few months ago I was called and asked to cat-sit for these folks and was surprised to learn I'd be watching the kitties that lived in the log home! Wishes do come true. I was glad they asked me to watch their girls again.
Amy and Abigail, their two kitty girls, were very sweet and affectionate. I was worried about Abigail for a day or two when she developed a limp and began to favor her left leg. She allowed me to take a close look at it, though she grumbled a little bit. There were no wounds nor outward signs of trauma. I stopped by more frequently and kept checking her leg. Each time I checked, the limping was less pronounced. By the time her mom and dad arrived home, she was fine. I don't know what that was all about, but I'm so glad it wasn't anything serious.
